Governor Greg Abbott is receiving an antibody treatment to fight off COVID-19. The treatment is typically reserved for high-risk, symptomatic COVID-19 patients. Soon people living in Austin can have it delivered directly to their doors.
Monday an infusion center opened at the Travis County Expo Center where high-risk patients who test positive for COVID-19 can receive monoclonal antibodies with a doctor’s order. According to Texas DSHS 19 people have been treated there since the site opened.
