CourMed, a technology company providing enterprise software and concierge delivery services, has announced plans to expand its headquarters in McKinney. The company will create 22 new technology jobs over the next three years with a grant from the McKinney Economic Development Corp.’s Innovation Fund.

“The Innovation Fund will allow CourMed to expand service delivery to meet growing demand in North Texas and scale to additional markets in Florida, Arizona, California and Alabama this year,” founder and CEO Derrick L. Miles said in a news release.

The business provides delivery services from health care providers to patients’ homes or offices. The technology CourMed offers is important during the pandemic, according to a MEDC news release. CourMed’s software makes it easier and safer to access health care items without leaving the house, helping prevent the spread of COVID-19, the release said.
